Ice Machine Relocation in Craighall

Ice Machine Relocation in Craighall, Johannesburg. Safe decommission, move and recommission of ice plant.

Relocations are the point at which siting mistakes get corrected: clearances, ambient, drain fall and water pressure. We isolate, drain, move, reconnect and recommission with the output verified in the new position.

The ice plant here is mostly estate clubhouses, guest houses, small restaurants and private bars, so the work is weighted towards undercounter and small modular machines. Call-outs are run from the central Johannesburg base, which keeps attendance windows short for kitchens in the northern and central suburbs.

Where a site is on borehole or stored water, hardness and sediment shorten descaling intervals sharply, which is why we take a hardness reading before setting a maintenance schedule. Highveld summer ambient is the other half of the picture: an air-cooled machine boxed into joinery loses output on hot afternoons even when the refrigeration circuit is perfect.
