Flanged Incalloy elements fail either from scale-driven overheating or from sustained dry operation after a low-water event. We replace to the original loading unless the panel and cabling support an upgrade, and we look for the reason the previous element failed.
Vessels are lined with Carboguard 545 or glass-flake epoxy, heated by flanged Incalloy elements and controlled from 6 kW–84 kW pre-wired panels, so any repair has to consider the water side, the element side and the panel together.
