Ice Machine Maintenance Contracts in Mondeor

Ice Machine Maintenance Contracts in Mondeor, East Rand. Planned maintenance with scheduled descaling, sanitising and filter changes.

Planned maintenance is priced on measured water hardness, daily run hours and how critical the ice is to the operation. Restaurants and bars typically want quarterly attendance; healthcare, laboratory and food-processing plant usually monthly or six-weekly with documented hygiene records.

The ice plant here is mostly estate clubhouses, guest houses, small restaurants and private bars, so the work is weighted towards undercounter and small modular machines. Ekurhuleni visits are grouped by area so restaurant and factory ice plant can be attended on the same run.

Water in this part of Gauteng is moderately hard, so scale on evaporator plates, spray bars and float valves is the single most common reason output drifts below the plate rating. Highveld summer ambient is the other half of the picture: an air-cooled machine boxed into joinery loses output on hot afternoons even when the refrigeration circuit is perfect.
