Ice Machine Water Filter Replacement in Oakdene

Ice Machine Water Filter Replacement in Oakdene, East Rand. Filter and cartridge changes with hardness testing.

Filtration protects the evaporator and pump from scale and sediment. Cartridges are sized on throughput and measured hardness rather than a default six-month interval, and we log the change so the next one is predictable.

The ice plant here is mostly estate clubhouses, guest houses, small restaurants and private bars, so the work is weighted towards undercounter and small modular machines. Ekurhuleni visits are grouped by area so restaurant and factory ice plant can be attended on the same run.

Water in this part of Gauteng is moderately hard, so scale on evaporator plates, spray bars and float valves is the single most common reason output drifts below the plate rating. Condenser clearance and kitchen extract have as much effect on daily output as the refrigeration charge, so both are checked before any sealed-system work is quoted.
