Ice Machine Repairs in Benoni

Ice Machine Repairs in Benoni, East Rand. Breakdown repair of commercial ice machines that have stopped producing or dropped output.

A repair visit starts with the water circuit and harvest cycle rather than the refrigeration side, because the majority of no-ice calls come down to inlet valves, float valves, water pumps, scaled evaporators or harvest controls. Only once those are cleared do we move on to pressures, superheat and compressor performance.

The installed base here runs from single undercounter bar machines through to modular hotel plant and flake counters, so the first job is establishing exactly what is installed and how hard it is worked. Ekurhuleni visits are grouped by area so restaurant and factory ice plant can be attended on the same run.

Where a site is on borehole or stored water, hardness and sediment shorten descaling intervals sharply, which is why we take a hardness reading before setting a maintenance schedule. Highveld summer ambient is the other half of the picture: an air-cooled machine boxed into joinery loses output on hot afternoons even when the refrigeration circuit is perfect.
