Ice Machine Commissioning in Johannesburg & Gauteng

Documented commissioning with measured output and cube weight.

Commissioning proves the installation: water pressure, ambient, freeze and harvest times, cube weight, output per 24 hours and electrical readings all recorded, so later performance complaints can be measured against a real baseline.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Do you attend ice machine commissioning in Johannesburg?

Yes. Johannesburg falls inside our standard Johannesburg coverage. Call-outs are run from the central Johannesburg base, which keeps attendance windows short for kitchens in the northern and central suburbs. Call 069 268 0988 to book an attendance slot.

How long does ice machine commissioning take?

Two to three hours after installation.

Which machines do you work on in Johannesburg?

Everything from self-contained undercounter machines to modular heads on bins and production plant, including water-cooled ice machines, remote condenser ice machines, cube ice machines. The installed base here runs from single undercounter bar machines through to modular hotel plant and flake counters, so the first job is establishing exactly what is installed and how hard it is worked.

Which brands are covered?

We service all common commercial makes, including Brema, Icematic, Simag, Maja, and can source the usual wear parts — inlet valves, float valves, pumps, spray bars, thermostats and fan motors.

What is included in the price?

The visit covers water pressure and temperature readings, ambient and condenser air checks, freeze and harvest cycle timing and a written record of findings. Parts are quoted before fitting unless you have authorised a repair limit.

A related problem is "Ice Machine Refrigerant Leak" — is that covered?

Output falls progressively and pressures read low. That is diagnosed on the same visit, and the fault page for Johannesburg sets out the usual causes and how we test for them.
